July 9, 2020 very hot late morning ride around the Paul Douglas Forest Preserve in Hoffman Estates. I started at the parking area on Central Road. I road clockwise, the route is about 7.2 miles. The trail does extend to Crab Tree Nature Center but that parking area has been closed

June 24, 2020 sunny afternoon ride on the Hebron Trail. I started on the Prairie Trail in Richmond, which is beautiful, rode north toward Wisconsin, then turned west. The ride goes through wetlands with birdwatchers, bikers, cows, and corn. The trail is unpaved but very well maintained.
